The Johnston Collection, incorporating House Museum Fairhall, Gallery and Reference Library, is a hidden treasure, a jewel in the heart of Melbourne with amazing stories to tell.  Visitors learn of Mr Johnston's wonderful story and marvel at the fascinating Collection.

Fairhall the residence of the late William Johnston (1911-1986) antique dealer and collector, has an astonishing collection of Georgian, Regency and Louis XV fine and decorative arts arranged within a domestic setting. 

It is pure indulgence to be amongst the Collection. 

  • Three guided tours daily Monday to Friday at 10.00am, 12.00 noon and 2.15 pm
  • Occasional Saturday morning and evening tours are also available
